UN’s annual Commission on the Status of Women · Franciscans International
Franciscans International hosted a group of Franciscan women earlier this year for the UN’s annual Commission on the Status of Women, during the two weeks of March 11-22. A diverse group of Franciscans, including five sisters from three different congregations, a Secular Franciscan and an Anglican Third Order Franciscan came to participate. There is still much more work to be done by Franciscans International toward the restoration of human dignity and the integrity of our common home, and as brothers and sisters in the Franciscan journey we all can be a part of it!
